Registration Now Open for the 13th Annual Run for Recovery

Every year, our community comes together for one purpose: to celebrate hope, healing, and the strength of recovery.
On Sunday, September 20, Bridgeway Community Health will host its 13th Annual Run for Recovery at Riverfront Park, bringing together individuals in recovery, families, community members, healthcare professionals, businesses, and local organizations for a morning dedicated to encouragement, connection, and hope.
Last year, 381 runners and walkers and 31 dedicated volunteers joined us to show that recovery is possible. This year, we’re inviting our community to make an even greater impact.
More Than a Race
The Run for Recovery isn’t simply about crossing a finish line—it’s about celebrating the courage it takes to begin the journey toward recovery and recognizing the individuals, families, and communities who walk alongside them every day.
Whether you’re running the 5K, participating in the one-mile walk, volunteering, sponsoring the event, or hosting a vendor booth, your participation helps create a powerful message:
Recovery is possible. Hope is real. And no one has to walk the journey alone.
Ways to Get Involved

Register
Whether you’re chasing a personal best or simply looking for a meaningful way to spend your Sunday morning, there’s a place for everyone.
Participants can choose between:
- 5K Run
- 1-Mile Community Walk
Become an Event Sponsor
Sponsors play an important role in making the Run for Recovery possible while demonstrating their commitment to strengthening the health and well-being of our community.
Sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses, healthcare organizations, and community partners looking to support recovery while connecting with hundreds of community members.

Become a Community Vendor
We’re also inviting nonprofits, healthcare providers, local businesses, and community organizations to host a vendor booth during this year’s event.
Vendor booths provide an opportunity to connect with attendees, share resources, and help create a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere centered around health, wellness, and recovery.
Why We Run
Every registration…
Every sponsorship…
Every volunteer…
Every vendor…
Every cheer from the sidelines…
…helps remind someone that they are not alone.
Recovery changes lives. It strengthens families. It builds healthier communities.
When we come together each September, we aren’t simply hosting an event—we’re celebrating every step forward.
