Located within Bridgeway’s new Medical Center in Salem, our expanded 34-bed program provides a comfortable, supportive environment where individuals can safely navigate withdrawal with care from our medical and behavioral health team.

What to Expect During Your Stay
When you arrive, our team will assess your health, substance use history, medical needs and available support to determine the safest approach to your care.
Throughout your stay, our treatment team is available around the clock to monitor and support your physical and emotional needs as they arise. We understand that experiences such as trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression and other challenges can affect recovery, and our team approaches each person with patience, compassion and respect.

Clients also have access to group support and healthy, chef-prepared meals from Bridgeway’s culinary team during their stay.
Length of Stay
The average stay is approximately seven days, depending on individual medical needs. Clients remain in the program until medically cleared and ready for the next step in their care.

Bridgeway’s new Medical Center was intentionally designed to provide a welcoming, comfortable environment for individuals beginning their recovery.
Client Milieu
A spacious shared area with comfortable seating, tables, a fireplace, television, skylights and abundant natural light.
Outdoor Space
Clients have access to an outdoor balcony with seating where they can enjoy fresh air.
Dining Area
A bright, open dining space where clients can enjoy nutritious meals prepared by Bridgeway's culinary team. The space can also accommodate loved ones who visit during a client's stay.
Individual Rooms
Individual sleeping spaces provide clients with additional privacy and include a television and privacy curtain.
Shared Rooms
Comfortable dorm-style accommodations include individual privacy curtains and access to television.
Enhanced Medical Support Rooms
Private rooms are available for individuals who require additional medical observation and support during their stay.

Medically managed withdrawal is often the first step in recovery. Before a client leaves our program, Bridgeway’s team can help identify the next level of care and connect them with continued treatment and recovery support.
